2018 is quickly approaching and with it will come a slew of new video game titles to look forward to playing. With that said, now’s a good time to start marking down what video games to keep an eye on when they officially launch next year. Upcoming Pc Games 2018 October

Sea of Thieves is all about being a pirate with a crew. Scavenge for treasure, loot islands, take to the open sea, and battle against other crews that are unfortunate enough to come across your pathway.

The game has also been supported with new expansion and updates where developers have added new threats into the seas and regions to explore such as a volcanic island with the Forsaken Shores. This will likely be a title that will be supported for quite some time though its the player interactions which the game really blossoms.

Dual Universe

Overall, Dual Universe seems to be quite ambitious and even said to combine elements from Minecraft, No Man’s Sky, Eve Online, Star Citizen, and Space Engineers.

Players will share a massive single universe with the ability to edit game worlds by adding structures, altering terrain, along with creating ship scripts and constructs. Dual Universe will focus on collective gameplay with gamers exploring, mining, trading, crafting, and creating in-game politics.

Camelot Unchained

Camelot Unchained is an upcoming title that is considered to be a spiritual successor to Dark Age of Camelot. Overall this fantasy world players will be dwelling within has been nearly destroyed leaving where gamers will be put into the shoes as part of the remaining survivors of the world.

Developers City State Entertainment emphasize that the story and adventure for players will be one that will reclaim the world. Furthermore, this RvR game will be a player-driven economy with no real-world money shops available for gamers to quickly buff and enhance their characters.

Crowfall

Crowfall is an upcoming MMOPRG that takes inspiration from the HBO series Game of Thrones. Developers ArtCraft is mixing elements of action-RPG and real-time strategy where players will seek out glory, wealth, and ultimately power. Though, regardless if players opt to go through the world on their own, Crowfall will push for more player interactions.

While this is an ambitious title to offer gameplay similar to what players may find watching Game of Thrones, the developers are finding no trouble when it comes to backing support. Originally, the title was featured within Kickstarter for a pledge goal of $800,000 and according to the official website for Crowfall, developers has managed to bring in over $10,000,000 in funding.

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is an upcoming video game by developers Visionary Realms. This particular title has an extensive lore background available for players to read through. Essentially, within this upcoming video game, the story revolves around a number of pantheon gods which have fallen in devotees causing them to be ripped from their planar realms and tossed into the world as living godkings.

Seeking to reclaim their planar power, these godkings and their followers will stop at nothing to regain their divine position. Though players can go through some of the campaign by themselves, progression within Pantheon requires player interactions, friends, and lastly, trustworthy allies.

Lineage Eternal

Lineage Eternal is the sequel to Lineage, a video game that launched all the way back in 1998. This is one title that has been in the works for a long time with the first gameplay videos surfacing online in 2011 after being shown off at a gaming convention in South Korea. If you enjoyed the first title then you’ll find that Lineage Eternal has kept up with the same isometric RPG style with siege warfare.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth

The seventh expansion to release for World of Warcraft is Battle for Azeroth. World of Warcraft still continues to bring in new players along with adding expansion for veteran gamers who wish to continue on with the grand journey.

This upcoming expansion adds a slew of goods to the game such as raising the level cap to 120, new dungeons, raids, uncharted islands, allied races for alliance along with the horde, and players can expect the introduction to both the Kul Tiras and Zandalar continents.

As for the narrative, the plot will follow the events from Legion where a new conflict between the Alliance and the Horde has risen.

Bless Online is an MMORPG that launched within Korea but is slated to see a release in the west through the Steam client some time this year. Within the game Bless Online players will be taken to another fantasy world that follows a war between two factions, the Hieron and Union.

Visually, the game is beautiful and one that will likely attract plenty of players to at least give the game an honest try. Bless Online offers seven different races with their own unique stories and likewise, there is a wide selection of activities to try outside of the main campaign.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset

  • Release: May 21, 2018

After the incredible success Bethesda Softworks had with their last installment of The Elder Scrolls, developers ZeniMax Online Studios released an MMO based on the franchise. Players could go through the fantasy world and complete quests with friends that are set on the continent of Tamriel.

The game released in 2014 though since its release we’ve seen a few DLC and expansions launch in support of the game, with the latest being Summerset. Within this expansion, players are taken to Summerset Isle which was not shown off since the days of The Elder Scrolls: Arena and that came out all the way back in 1994. It’s within this area that players will get another storyline and abilities such as crafting jewelry.

If you haven’t played The Elder Scrolls Online since it initially released then we recommend giving it another go. Since its launch, the developers have been working on enhancing the gameplay experience and we were pleasantly surprised at how well the title handles for especially if you’re enjoying the game as a new player.
